Mechanical Technician

About the role

Fives Services Gulf is looking for a Mechanical Technician to join its Bahrain team. You will be responsible for servicing, corrective and preventative maintenance of a wide range of equipment and machinery, ensuring continuous operational readiness in line with company SOPs, HSEQ standards and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and ensure timely completion.
• Perform administration, configuration, calibration, maintenance, programming and qualification of assigned equipment.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on SPL equipment and related machinery according to contractual requirements.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and process errors, recommending effective solutions.
• Provide on‑site support to customers to ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor equipment performance to minimise both planned and unplanned downtime.
• Maintain technical integrity and safety of all mechanical assets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and servicing of industrial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety requirements and ability to work in compliance with company, customer and industry standards.
• Ability to analyse data, record findings and prepare concise reports.
• Willingness to work on‑site and support customers as needed.
