Merchandiser - Accessories

About the role

The Merchandiser – Accessories will support the Brand Manager in shaping product and assortment strategies that meet financial targets across the Bahrain region. This full‑time position focuses on coordinating allocation, delivery and replenishment of accessories merchandise, while assisting with pre‑season planning, in‑season forecasting and new store openings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing merchandise plans using historical trends, sales performance and brand outlooks.
• Analyse store profiles (stock weeks, sales blend, inventory by grade) to guide allocation decisions.
• Execute in‑season stock analysis, balancing, markdown management and performance reviews.
• Plan merchandise mix, initial allocations and reserve management based on pre‑distribution plans.
• Finalize seasonal assortment plans and size run books with the Senior Merchandiser.
• Monitor competitor product lines, pricing and category developments.
• Ensure compliance with stock ageing standards and maintain target stock turns.
• Support margin negotiations, order placements and stock distribution decisions.
• Track sales versus forecasts, coordinate inventory checks and replenish stores as needed.
• Conduct market visits with the Brand Manager to assess execution and gather intelligence.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of retail merchandising experience in fashion or lifestyle.
• Strong understanding of product strategy, vendor coordination and trend analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Operations, Merchandising or related field preferred.
