Multi Property Health Club Attendant & Lifeguard

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and vigilant Multi‑Property Health Club Attendant who will also serve as a lifeguard across our recreational facilities in Manama. The role involves welcoming guests, ensuring safety, and supporting a range of leisure activities such as pool, beach, fitness centre and children’s programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information and assistance to guests about pools, beach, fitness centre, game‑room and children’s activities.
• Monitor all recreational areas, enforce safety rules and respond to emergencies according to local procedures.
• Perform lifeguard duties, assist injured guests and coordinate with emergency medical services.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process payments for equipment rentals, activity fees and retail sales.
• Support private functions and group events held within the facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of pools, equipment and surrounding areas.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to management and complete required safety training.

Required profile

• Excellent customer service attitude with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Physical ability to stand, walk or swim for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb unaided (heavier items with assistance).
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Operation of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Cash handling and basic accounting.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and reservation systems.
