Multi-Skill Technician (HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical)

About the role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is hiring a full-time, non-management Multi-Skill Technician in Manama, Bahrain. The role covers inspecting, repairing and maintaining HVAC, air quality control and refrigeration equipment, as well as electrical and plumbing work and pool and spa maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain HVAC, air quality control and refrigeration equipment, and maintain daily inspections of the mechanical plant.
• Monitor and control property temperature, and monitor and analyse energy and utilities usage.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters and other equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, repair and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring, and pipe assemblies, fittings and valves.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
• Follow company and safety and security policies, report problems and hazards, complete safety training and certifications, and keep a clean, professional appearance.
• Welcome guests, speak clearly and professionally, and help improve quality, efficiency, safety and cost savings.

Required profile

• EPA Universal Certification.
• Driver's license.
• HVAC certification.
• Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of related work experience preferred; no supervisory experience required.

The role involves physical work such as reaching overhead and below the knees, moving in confined or elevated spaces, lifting objects up to 100 pounds and assisting with objects of 50 pounds or less.
