OCONUS Seat Service Technician

About the role

Leidos is seeking an OCONUS Seat Service Technician to support the U.S. Navy’s PC Refresh Initiative in Manama, Bahrain. The role focuses on delivering End User Hardware as a Service (EUHWaaS) for the Naval Enterprise Network, ensuring warfighters have reliable and secure IT equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy new hardware devices (desktops, laptops, peripherals) including system imaging, software installation, configuration, and data migration.
• Configure systems to baseline image specifications and apply required security settings per Government policies.
• Unbox, transport, and set up equipment across the worksite, handling packaging disposal.
• Maintain detailed records of refresh activities in Remedy tickets and follow work instructions.
• Perform break‑fix actions and manage seat returns, documenting all work in the ticketing system.
• Coordinate with regional leads and on‑site points of contact to schedule replacements and resolve issues.
• Assist in overall EUHWaaS task coordination, reporting progress and challenges to the project lead.
• Ensure all actions meet Service Level Requirements (SLR) timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in end‑user hardware support or a similar role.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
