Oracle Cloud Architect

About the role

The OCI Cloud Architect designs and shapes Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions that support Beyon Solutions’ Sovereign Cloud and Oracle Alloy strategy. Working within the Cloud & Infrastructure team, the role bridges business requirements and technical execution, collaborating closely with sales, bid management, and delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design OCI‑based cloud architectures aligned with customer and business needs, including reference architectures, landing zones, networking, security, HA/DR, and hybrid cloud designs.
• Support sales and bid teams during customer engagements, workshops, and proposal activities by translating requirements into scalable OCI solutions and delivering presentations and demos.
• Validate implementation feasibility with PMO and delivery teams, manage timelines, dependencies, and risks, and ensure smooth transition from pre‑sales to delivery.
• Contribute to the establishment and evolution of the Sovereign Cloud powered by Oracle Alloy, including service catalog development and technical governance.
• Provide technical leadership, create standards, templates, and automation approaches, and stay current with OCI, cloud‑native, and hybrid cloud developments.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture and best practices.
• Experience in cloud networking, IAM, security, governance, and hybrid cloud migration.
• Proven ability to engage customers in pre‑sales workshops and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Relevant OCI certifications are preferred.
