Oracle Developer

About the role

VAM Systems is seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to join its Bahrain operations. The role combines deep Oracle database expertise with .NET development knowledge to deliver robust data solutions for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on Oracle Database and Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Collaborate with business analysts and project teams to clarify technical requirements.
• Participate in the full database engineering lifecycle, from data architecture to physical design.
• Consult with clients to define database requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Design and implement scalable database solutions aligned with organizational needs.
• Promote best practices for database development across the company.
• Work on multiple product development projects, offering recommendations for database design and improvements.
• Conduct testing and analysis of complex applications before launch.
• Partner with the DBA team on relational modeling, capacity planning, performance control, and implementation.
• Represent the database team in project meetings and contribute to complex development initiatives.
• Provide technical assistance to fellow developers and troubleshoot system issues promptly.
