About the role

The Order Taker – In‑Room Dining provides a seamless dining experience for guests staying at The Ritz‑Carlton Bahrain. You will be the first point of contact for guests ordering food and beverages to their rooms, ensuring every interaction feels personal and memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Take guest orders accurately and promptly, using the in‑room dining system.
• Set up and maintain clean, well‑presented dining areas within guest rooms.
• Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen and coordinate delivery timing.
• Interact courteously with guests, answering menu questions and addressing special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related experience in food‑and‑beverage service.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and move safely on varied surfaces.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb unassisted and up to 50 lb with assistance.

Required skills

• Ability to read and verify menu information accurately.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and kitchen staff.
• Basic math for handling orders and billing.
