Panel Supervisor

About the role

The Panel Supervisor will oversee the material flow and assembly processes for electrical panels, ensuring that production schedules are met and that all documentation is accurate. This role works closely with storekeepers, foremen, and technicians to guarantee that the right components are available and that assembly activities run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Check material status with the storekeeper against drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Ensure material availability according to production schedules and maintain a shortage list for follow‑up.
• Prepare production plans in consultation with the Panel Supervisor team.
• Verify availability of tools and equipment required for panel assembly.
• Hand over controlled copies of master drawings and job cards to assigned foremen/technicians.
• Maintain records of tools issued and returned.
• Monitor panel assembly phases to ensure completion as per agreed schedule.
• Oversee PED floor and material utilization for efficient operations.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to track material and tool inventories.
• Good coordination skills to work with storekeepers, foremen, and technicians.
• Ability to follow production plans and adjust to schedule changes.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
