Planner – Project Scheduling for Manufacturing

About the role

The Planner is responsible for estimating project timescales and ensuring that all deadlines are met. Working closely with the Setting‑Out, Manufacturing, Procurement and Logistics teams, the Planner helps keep joinery and furniture manufacturing projects on schedule and guarantees material availability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing detailed project timelines and schedules from start to delivery.
• Identify critical‑path activities, dependencies and potential bottlenecks.
• Create baseline schedules, dashboards and tracking reports to monitor progress.
• Act as the main interface between Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Project Management and external clients.
• Facilitate communication to keep all stakeholders aligned on status, requirements and deadlines.
• Collaborate with Material Engineer and Procurement to understand material needs, lead times and delivery schedules.
• Follow‑up orders, escalate issues and track delivery dates.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management review.
• Support process improvement by providing operational and administrative assistance and proposing procedural innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling and operations within manufacturing or construction/fit‑out.
• Experience with extensions of time, baseline schedules, earned‑value management and regular reporting.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and understand proper sequencing.
