Plant Specialist – Remote (Bahrain)

About the role

We are seeking a Plant Specialist to support plant health, cultivation, and environmental care across our remote projects. The role combines scientific knowledge with practical horticultural skills to ensure sustainable plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and assess plant health, growth, and environmental conditions.
• Provide recommendations on soil management, irrigation, and overall plant care.
• Identify diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies and suggest appropriate treatments.
• Support planning and implementation of cultivation and landscaping projects.
• Advise on plant selection based on climate, soil, and project requirements.
• Conduct research on plant biology, sustainability, and best horticultural practices.
• Collaborate with operations and project teams on green initiatives.
• Maintain records of plant performance and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Botany, Horticulture, Agriculture, Environmental Science or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in plant care, horticulture, landscaping or agricultural roles.
• Strong knowledge of plant biology, soil science and pest management.
• Experience with irrigation systems and plant maintenance techniques.
• Excellent observational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills in English and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with sustainable or eco‑friendly practices is a plus.
