Plumber Journeyman / Laborer Foreman

About the role

The Plumber Journeyman / Laborer Foreman is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of plumbing systems, including heating, water, drainage, fire suppression, and pool operations. The role also involves supervising subcontract workers, coordinating transportation, and ensuring safety on job sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures such as sinks, commodes, showers, and water heaters.
• Cut, thread, and assemble metal and non‑metal pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Perform leak detection tests and address burst pipes, clogged drains, and faulty faucets.
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Conduct periodic inspections, preventive maintenance, and documentation of work performed.
• Escort subcontract workers, buses, and trucks to various job locations.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and ensure quality assurance through site visits.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Plumbing Journeyman license in any U.S. state.
• Backflow certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with at least one year remaining and ability to operate a standard‑transmission vehicle.
• U.S. passport with at least six months validity and ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
• Proficient written and oral communication in English.
• 1–4 years of related plumbing experience.
