Plumbing Foreman

About the role

Nass is looking for a plumbing foreman to supervise and coordinate plumbing installation, maintenance and repair work at project sites. The foreman ensures work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with project specifications, company standards and applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead plumbers and helpers on site, and plan, assign and monitor daily plumbing activities.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, specifications and work schedules.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, sewage and piping.
• Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors and other trades, and monitor material needs and tools.
• Inspect completed work, enforce HSE policies and site safety rules, and run toolbox talks.
• Report daily progress, manpower use and site issues to management, and resolve technical and operational issues.

Required profile

• Diploma or trade certificate in plumbing or a related field.
• At least 5 years of plumbing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Experience in commercial, industrial or construction projects.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings and technical documents.
• Knowledge of plumbing materials, fittings and installation standards.
