Production Engineer – Sheet Metal Fabrication

About the role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking a Production Engineer to lead day‑to‑day manufacturing activities in its Askar workshop. You will work closely with supervisors and team leads to ensure efficient production of bespoke metal and joinery components for the Middle East market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily production work alongside supervisors, managing 50‑60 fabrication and welding professionals.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Supervise a dedicated team of 20 fabrication and welding staff.
• Produce hand‑sketches for bespoke metal fabrication detailing.
• Maintain efficiency of sheet‑metal machines and enforce 5S principles.
• Ensure worker discipline and compliance with PPE requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the sheet‑metal fabrication industry.
• Strong knowledge of sheet‑metal machinery and processes, including laser cutting, press brake, rolling, MIG/TIG welding, and related fabrication tools.
• Proven experience in metal interior fabrication.

Required skills

• Hand‑sketching for metal detailing.
• Basic knowledge of Autodesk software.
• Basic knowledge of Epicor ERP system.
• Laser cutting operation.
• Press brake operation.
• Rolling machine operation.
• MIG welding.
• TIG welding.
