Program Coordinator – Government Travel Credit Card Analyst

About the role

The Agency Program Coordinator (APC) / Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC) Analyst manages the GTCC program for staff and ship personnel, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures. This position provides frontline support to cardholders, coordinates with financial institutions and government offices, and helps maintain command readiness through accurate account oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Command GTCC program for CNSG‑C staff and ship personnel.
• Provide help‑desk support for travel‑card inquiries, guiding cardholders on policies and responsibilities.
• Establish, validate, and terminate GTCC accounts in line with command and higher‑echelon directives.
• Process new card applications, coordinate replacements, and ensure DTS profiles reflect current card information.
• Verify completion of required training and Statement of Understanding before card activation.
• Serve as liaison with DFAS, the Comptroller Office, Commercial Travel Office, and financial institutions to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor disputed transactions, assist with reconciliation, and prevent account suspensions.
• Perform any other duties assigned by command leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum eight (8) years of experience supporting GTCC programs as an Agency Program Coordinator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of GTCC account codes, policies, and procedures.
• Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS) processes (desired).
• Excellent customer‑service and communication abilities.
• Proven experience coordinating with financial institutions, DFAS, and command leadership.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, monitor compliance, and generate usage reports.
• Active Secret Clearance.
