Project Planner

About the role

The Project Planner is responsible for estimating project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met, and coordinating material supplies. Working closely with site managers, engineers, and procurement, the role guarantees that construction projects progress on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, baseline plans, and Earned Value Management (EVM) reports.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, gather supplier quotes, and coordinate orders with the procurement department.
• Act as the primary interface between the company, clients, and external parties to close out procurement activities.
• Review new job scopes, identify RFIs, and resolve discrepancies during pre‑ and post‑contract phases.
• Facilitate communication between production, setting‑out, and subcontractor teams to ensure clear documentation and issue resolution.
• Generate dashboards, weekly and monthly progress reports, and present project phase dependencies.
• Support operational efficiency by proposing procedural innovations and assisting in team meetings.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in a fit‑out company, preferably on 5‑star hotel, public area, or commercial projects.
• Experience with high‑rise building projects and extension‑of‑time techniques.
• Willingness to work in Jeddah or relocate within KSA and to join immediately.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and understand proper sequencing.
