Project Planner – Joinery & Furniture Manufacturing

About the role

The Planner will support the planning and scheduling of joinery and furniture manufacturing projects, ensuring that timelines are realistic and deadlines are met. Working closely with Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production and Logistics, the role bridges technical planning with day‑to‑day execution.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating detailed project timelines, baseline schedules and dashboards for each project phase.
• Identify critical‑path activities, dependencies and potential bottlenecks.
• Act as the main communication hub between Setting‑Out, Procurement, Production, Logistics, Project Management and external clients.
• Support material and resource management by coordinating with the Material Engineer and Procurement team, tracking orders and escalating delivery issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, monitor production status and help resolve coordination problems.
• Contribute to process improvements by proposing operational and administrative innovations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or Interior Design.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling or operations within manufacturing or construction/fit‑out environments.
• Proven experience with extensions of time, baseline schedules, Earned Value Management and regular reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and understand proper sequencing.

Required skills

• Primavera P6 (preferred).
• MS Project (preferred).
• Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
• Dashboard creation and reporting (weekly/monthly).
• Baseline schedule development and critical‑path analysis.
