Projects Manager – Construction Fit‑out

About the role

The Projects Manager will lead fast‑track fit‑out projects for retail stores, food & beverage outlets, hotels and commercial offices. Working independently, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering multiple projects on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Convert tender programmes into detailed construction schedules, defining procurement needs and client meeting calendars.
• Set project objectives, scope, budgets, timelines and allocate internal resources such as QA/QC, Health & Safety and MEP management.
• Select and vet subcontractors, negotiate procurement packages and ensure sufficient labour, equipment and materials.
• Represent the company at site meetings with clients and consultants, approve interim payments and final accounts.
• Maintain accurate progress records, report weekly to senior management and ensure clear communication with clients.
• Oversee health and safety on all sites, manage vendor and trade subcontractor performance.
• Compile Operations & Maintenance manuals and manage project close‑out in line with contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in fit‑out contracting, with at least 7‑8 years in senior project management roles in the Middle East.
• Strong technical, execution and commercial abilities, especially in woodworking, joinery and timber manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage large‑scale construction programmes.
