Projects Manager

About the role

The Projects Manager will lead fast‑track fit‑out projects for retail stores, food & beverage outlets, hotels and commercial offices. Working independently, you will oversee planning, coordination and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they meet client requirements, quality standards, safety regulations, budget constraints and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Convert tender programmes into detailed construction programmes, defining procurement needs and client meeting schedules.
• Set project objectives, scope, budget, schedule and performance criteria; select and allocate subcontractors and internal resources (QA/QC, Health & Safety, MEP).
• Manage procurement packages, vet subcontractor tenders and approve interim payments and final accounts.
• Ensure sufficient resources, equipment and labour are available to meet project timelines and quality targets.
• Represent the company at site meetings with clients and consultants.
• Maintain accurate progress records, report weekly to senior management and ensure effective communication with clients.
• Oversee health and safety on all sites, enforce company procedures and manage rectification processes.
• Compile Operations & Maintenance manuals and lead project close‑out in line with contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7‑8 years experience with reputable fit‑out contractors in the Middle East.
• At least 10 years total experience in construction fit‑out projects.
• Strong technical, execution and commercial abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of woodworking, joinery, timber, veneers and related manufacturing practices.
