Projects Manager

About the role

The Projects Manager will lead fast‑track fit‑out projects for retail stores, food & beverage outlets, hotels and commercial offices. Working independently, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering multiple projects on time, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Convert tender programmes into detailed construction schedules, define procurement requirements and set up client meeting calendars.
• Develop project objectives, site set‑up plans, logistics, scope, budgeting, scheduling and performance targets.
• Select and manage subcontractors, allocate internal resources such as QA/QC, Health & Safety and MEP management.
• Approve interim payments, final accounts and company valuations before client submission.
• Attend all site meetings as the company representative and ensure effective communication with clients and consultants.
• Monitor construction progress, maintain accurate records and report weekly to senior management.
• Oversee health and safety compliance, manage vendor and trade subcontractor performance, and ensure timely rectification of issues.
• Compile Operations & Maintenance manuals and manage project close‑out in line with contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7‑8 years of experience with reputable fit‑out contractors in the Middle East.
• At least 10 years total experience in construction fit‑out projects.
• Strong technical, execution and commercial abilities, especially in woodworking, joinery and timber manufacturing practices.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage large‑scale projects safely and efficiently.
