QA/QC Engineer

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer supports the Project Manager by providing technical guidance, overseeing material usage, testing, data recording and ensuring compliance with quality control procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify test and trial results, ensuring correct methodology and accurate data recording.
• Discuss technical details and discrepancies with the Client’s Representative and inform the Project Manager of any adverse results.
• Halt non‑conforming work, prepare liability exemption forms, and compile quality‑related information for contract completion.
• Maintain diagnostic equipment, ensure calibration, and keep an up‑to‑date register.
• Maintain AS‑BUILT marked‑up drawings reflecting at least 80% of site progress and coordinate with subcontractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience, preferably with GCC and temporary works exposure.
• Eligible for CRPEP registration.
• Strong organizing, coordinating and statistical data analysis abilities.

Required skills

• Use and calibration of diagnostic equipment.
• Preparation and maintenance of AS‑BUILT drawings.
• Knowledge of temporary works.
• Database management.
