Quality Controller

About the role

Havelock One Interiors is seeking an experienced Quality Controller to oversee and improve quality standards across its shop‑fitting and joinery manufacturing operations in Bahrain. The role will ensure that products and materials meet predefined specifications and that quality processes are consistently applied.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality systems, including policies, procedures, and manuals.
• Implement quality systems on the shop floor and monitor compliance.
• Identify potential quality lapses and introduce preventive measures.
• Define testing criteria and manage all testing processes and resources.
• Conduct daily quality control audits and assess product conformity.
• Investigate quality deviations, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Report audit results and quality status to management regularly.
• Ensure purchased materials meet required standards and address any non‑conformities.
• Liaise with purchase, production, and setting‑out teams to maintain quality at each stage.
• Supervise the quality control team and monitor product timelines for timely testing.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in a shop‑fitting or joinery manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quality Management.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing procedures and common shop‑fitting materials (timber, boards, laminates, metal, hardware, acrylics).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multinational setting.
