Receptionist – Guest Services

About the role

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests using the Royal Beach Club’s recreation facilities. This full‑time, onsite position ensures a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for visitors across pools, beach, fitness centre, and activity zones.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information on all recreation amenities and assist guests with bookings, registrations, and scheduling.
• Promote club rules, safety procedures, and a fun atmosphere for all users.
• Monitor activities, respond to emergencies, and assist injured guests until medical help arrives.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions for equipment rentals, facility bookings, and retail sales.
• Support private functions and group events held within the recreation areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management and complete required safety training.
• Uphold company policies, professional appearance, and confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to greet and assist guests courteously.
• Ability to recognize when guests cannot safely participate in activities and to alert supervisors.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift (up to 25 lb unaided), and move in varied environments.
• Clear, professional communication skills, both in person and on the telephone.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer operation for data entry and information retrieval.
