Recreation Experience Expert

About the role

The Recreation Experience Expert is the primary point of contact for guests using the resort’s leisure facilities. You will ensure a safe, enjoyable environment across pools, beach, fitness centre, game‑room and children’s activity areas while delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information on all recreation amenities and guide guests on usage.
• Encourage participation, register guests, and schedule activities.
• Enforce safety rules and respond to emergencies according to local procedures.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process equipment rentals and facility fees.
• Assist with private functions, group events and special activities.
• Support injured guests until medical help arrives and report incidents.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities, equipment and supplies.
• Uphold company policies, appearance standards and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency for point‑of‑sale and reservation systems.
• Cash handling and payment processing.
