Recreation Experience Expert (Lifeguard)

About the role

Join our hospitality team as a Recreation Experience Expert, providing safe and enjoyable leisure activities for guests. You will oversee pools, beach areas, fitness centres and child activity zones, ensuring a fun and relaxing atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all recreation facilities, offering information and assistance to guests.
• Promote, register, and schedule participation in pool, beach, fitness, and entertainment activities.
• Enforce safety rules, monitor activities, and respond to emergencies according to local procedures.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process equipment rentals, and manage cash registers.
• Assist with private functions, group events, and special activities within recreation areas.
• Provide first‑aid support to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a professional appearance.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb unassisted (heavier items with help).
• Clear communication skills and ability to interact courteously with guests and team members.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
