Regional Head of Retail Operations

About the role

The Regional Head of Retail Operations will lead and optimise the performance of all retail stores across the assigned territory in Bahrain. This senior position is responsible for driving sales, profitability, customer experience and brand consistency while managing operational costs and staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Set and achieve store sales targets, monitor KPIs such as units per transaction, average ticket, sales per square foot and conversion rates.
• Guide Area Managers and Store Managers to maximise productivity and resource utilisation.
• Control operational expenses through automation and enforce SOPs, loss‑prevention policies and visual‑merchandising standards.
• Recruit, train and coach staff on sales techniques, customer service and brand etiquette.
• Conduct performance appraisals, define KPIs for direct reports and support succession planning.
• Lead regional sales and operations meetings, provide regular feedback and ensure participation in loyalty programmes.
• Oversee stock management, shrinkage control and compliance audits.

• Proven leadership experience in multi‑store retail environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and operational metrics.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills to develop teams.
• Ability to implement brand standards and drive continuous improvement.
