Restaurant Manager – Premium Dining

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at our premium dining venue in Manama. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional guest experience while driving commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all front‑of‑house activities, ensuring smooth service and high guest satisfaction.
• Lead, coach and develop the FOH team, fostering a positive, high‑performing environment.
• Prepare the restaurant for each service, maintaining cleanliness, safety and operational readiness.
• Monitor floor operations, table allocations and service flow to maximise efficiency and revenue.
• Build strong guest relationships, handle feedback and resolve complaints promptly.
• Collaborate with reservations, back‑of‑house and support teams to optimise bookings and service coordination.
• Drive commercial performance through upselling, cover maximisation and KPI monitoring.
• Manage labour costs via effective scheduling and workforce planning.
• Control operational expenses, inventory levels, stock ordering and waste reduction.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, hygiene, health & safety and cash handling procedures.
• Prepare operational reports, monitor performance and implement service improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years of restaurant management experience in a high‑volume or premium dining environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent guest service and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Solid understanding of restaurant operations, food & beverage service and hospitality standards.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, inventory management and labour planning.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
