Restaurant Supervisor – Arabic Speaker

About the role

We are seeking a passionate, service‑driven Restaurant Supervisor who is fluent in Arabic and English to lead the daily operations of our Greek/Mediterranean restaurant at Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
• Lead, motivate and support the team during each shift.
• Deliver exceptional and personalised guest experiences, especially for Arabic‑speaking guests.
• Handle guest requests, feedback and concerns professionally.
• Maintain service, hygiene and presentation standards consistently.
• Conduct pre‑shift briefings and communicate daily priorities.
• Support training, coaching and development of team members.
• Assist with staff scheduling, opening and closing procedures and operational requirements.
• Monitor restaurant supplies and aid stock control.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory experience in a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant.
• Fluent Arabic and English communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent guest‑service and communication skills.
• Passion for food, beverage and hospitality.
• Solid knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead by example.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
