Sales & Groups Coordinator

About the role

The Sales & Groups Coordinator provides essential administrative and reservation support to the Sales and Distribution team at The Ritz‑Carlton Bahrain, ensuring all group bookings and related processes adhere to brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative assistance to Sales Executives, Managers and Directors.
• Maintain an accurate, accessible filing and tracing system for sales follow‑up.
• Handle phone enquiries with 09:00‑17:00 coverage and manage departmental mail.
• Prepare minutes, distribute meeting notes and support month‑end reporting and budgeting.
• Process group reservations, room blocking, billing and amendments in MARSHA, OPERA and Power of M.
• Ensure 100 % accuracy of market segmentation, guest preferences and special requests.
• Monitor group cut‑off dates, communicate status to bookers, planners and internal teams.
• Uphold confidentiality of guest information and maintain compliance with Ritz‑Carlton policies.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive attitude with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Experience in hotel sales coordination or a similar hospitality role.
