Sales Manager – Plastic Piping Solutions

About the role

Gulf Plastic Industries, a leading Bahrain manufacturer of plastic piping systems, is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across Bahrain and the GCC. The role involves shaping sales strategy, expanding market share and leading a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with corporate growth objectives.
• Lead, mentor and manage the sales team to achieve targets and maximise performance.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Bahrain and GCC markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, consultants, developers and key stakeholders.
• Manage major customer accounts and oversee commercial negotiations.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitor activities.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports for senior management.
• Drive product approvals and specifications with consultants, government authorities and project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, quality and finance to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of sales management experience in plastic pipes, building materials, construction or related industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering business growth.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Experience managing regional sales operations and distribution networks across the GCC.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel frequently across GCC markets.

Required skills

• Knowledge of PVC, CPVC, PPR, HDPE, MDPE and LDPE piping systems and related fittings.
