Sales & Marketing Manager – Grid Integration

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to lead growth for its Grid Integration Business Unit in Bahrain. You will drive sales, shape marketing strategies, and expand market share across a portfolio of grid‑integration solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Hitachi Energy’s Grid Integration portfolio, including renewable energy integration, data‑center electrification, and FACTS solutions.
• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities through lead generation, prospecting and customer engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, EPC contractors, utilities and partners.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports and business plans using Salesforce and Power BI.
• Conduct regular opportunity and pipeline reviews, implementing corrective actions to mitigate order shortfalls.
• Perform market research and competitive analysis, focusing on renewable‑energy trends.
• Deliver impactful sales presentations, solution proposals and product demonstrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10‑12 years of experience in power transmission, distribution or related industry segments.
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful sales and market‑development strategies.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, bid management and contract negotiations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
