About the role
The school is seeking a Secondary Head of Maths Teacher to join its British curriculum environment in Bahrain. This position combines classroom teaching with staff mentorship, supporting the school’s commitment to high‑quality British education while meeting local Ministry of Education requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the British National Curriculum in Mathematics to secondary students.
- Mentor and support teaching staff, fostering professional growth.
- Contribute to curriculum development and assessment practices.
- Uphold the school’s values of family spirit, warmth, and academic excellence.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and participate in the house system activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or Mathematics.
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the subject/grade level.
- Experience with the British curriculum preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
