Secondary Maths Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Secondary Maths Teacher to join our British‑style school in Bahrain. You will deliver the British National Curriculum to secondary students while integrating the local Ministry of Education requirements for Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons for secondary year groups.
• Incorporate British curriculum standards and adapt resources for local cultural context.
• Mentor and support newly qualified staff as part of the school’s leadership development pathway.
• Collaborate with house system teams to promote a positive learning environment.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Mathematics.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at secondary level.
• Passion for inspiring young learners and fostering creativity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the British National Curriculum.
