Secondary Science Teacher – British Curriculum (Bahrain)

About the role

The school seeks a motivated Secondary Science Teacher to deliver the British National Curriculum to secondary students in Bahrain. You will work in a modern, purpose‑driven learning environment that blends British educational practice with local Ministry of Education requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons for secondary pupils following the British curriculum.
• Incorporate Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies components as required by the Bahrain Ministry of Education.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor newly qualified and early‑career teachers, supporting their professional development.
• Contribute to the school’s house system and community activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or the relevant science subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the appropriate grade level.
• Experience with the British curriculum preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
