SEM Manager – Remote (Bahrain)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEM Manager to lead our search engine marketing strategy and paid‑search campaigns. The role is fully remote, supporting our Bahrain‑based performance‑driven organization, and will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and ROI through data‑focused optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEM strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Plan, launch, and continuously optimise PPC campaigns across major search platforms.
• Conduct keyword research, audience analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
• Manage campaign budgets, bidding strategies, and overall advertising spend.
• Monitor performance metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS) and implement optimisation tactics.
• Collaborate with SEO, content, design, product, and analytics teams.
• Design and run A/B tests for ad copy, landing pages, and audience targeting.
• Prepare performance dashboards, executive reports, and strategic recommendations.
• Stay updated on paid‑search trends, platform updates, and AI‑driven advertising technologies.
• Oversee agency relationships and ensure compliance with platform policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, IT or related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in SEM, PPC or performance marketing.
• Proven track record managing high‑budget paid‑search campaigns with measurable ROI.
• Strong analytical, communication and project‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Commercial awareness and a customer‑acquisition mindset.
