Senior Account Executive

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Senior Account Executive to join our finance team. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting audit processes. You will work closely with internal departments to maintain compliance with VAT regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate ledger postings.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash movements.
• Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial closing.
• Prepare schedules for external and internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable VAT regulations.
• Review supporting documents before posting accounting entries.
• Prepare financial reports and management schedules as required.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.

Required profile

• ACCA Finalist (mandatory).
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems; Odoo experience is an advantage.
• Good understanding of VAT regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
