Senior Consultant – Power Commercial Structuring & Transactions

About the role

The Senior Consultant will lead the commercial structuring, negotiation and risk management of power offtake, transmission and trading arrangements that underpin the Group’s renewable energy and strategic power import initiatives. This senior advisory position ensures that contracts are bankable, competitive and aligned with long‑term strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the structuring, negotiation and execution of long‑term and short‑term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), corporate PPAs and back‑to‑back PPAs.
• Develop commercially viable transaction structures that support project financing and revenue certainty.
• Assess, negotiate and manage transmission service agreements, wheeling arrangements, cross‑border access rights and interconnection agreements.
• Evaluate commercial viability of alternative transmission solutions and mitigate related risks such as congestion, curtailment and tariff changes.
• Engage with utilities, transmission system operators, regulators and other stakeholders to secure integrated commercial frameworks.
• Identify, assess and mitigate commercial and contractual risks across the power value chain.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in power commercial structuring, contracts and negotiations.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy project financing and power market dynamics.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and risk‑management capabilities.
