Senior Controller – Airside Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Controller to lead airside operations at Bahrain Airport Services. The role is shift‑based and focuses on delivering safe, compliant and financially efficient services on the airport ramp.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and direct assigned ramp personnel, ensuring adherence to Bahrain Airport Services, airline and regulator procedures.
• Plan, coordinate and manage daily airside activities, including the servicing and removal of ground support equipment (GSE).
• Maintain shift reports, produce accurate management reports and submit accident/incident documentation.
• Investigate discrepancies, implement corrective actions and ensure continuous improvement of procedures.
• Ensure staff training, briefings and compliance with safety, health, security and emergency orders.
• Oversee performance management, grooming and uniform standards to uphold professionalism.
• Support cross‑departmental meetings and contribute to procedural enhancements.

Required profile

• College degree (aviation‑related preferred) or at least a high school diploma.
• Minimum 5 years experience in airside operations or aviation ground handling.
• Completion of aviation operations courses and a valid airport driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Attention to detail, quality focus and good communication skills.
