Senior Technician – Engineering Department

About the role

The Senior Technician will join the Engineering Department at Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain, ensuring all equipment operates smoothly without shutdowns. The role focuses on maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance of hotel and resort facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair of all engineering equipment, including kitchen and laundry assets.
• Complete daily breakdown work orders and update the logbook with any issues.
• Order and replace correct spare parts, and follow‑up critical spares for operational needs.
• Conduct regular walk‑arounds of kitchen and laundry areas to verify condition and take corrective action.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly engineering work area.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry.
• High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is desirable).
• Familiarity with Jumeirah policies and engineering department procedures.

Required skills

• Equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance (PPM).
• Spare parts management and ordering.
• Logbook documentation and reporting of unsafe conditions.
