Shift Technician

About the role

Mantis is seeking a Shift Technician to join its resort engineering team. You will work on guest villas, ensuring all electrical, lighting, plumbing and HVAC systems operate safely and efficiently while supporting emergency response and safety initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance plans for guest villas, covering lighting, plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems.
• Install and maintain electrical apparatus, fixtures, alarms, switches, circuit‑breaker panels and wiring.
• Respond to emergency electrical work after midnight, troubleshoot hazards and repair or replace damaged units.
• Attend to faults in rooms and public areas, including fire alarm issues, generator, STP and desalination plant breakdowns.
• Conduct routine inspections, document repairs and parts used, and report activities to the engineering team.
• Participate in fire and safety drills and support the engineering team during crises.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a hospitality or similar environment.
• Ability to work night shifts and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Strong record‑keeping and reporting skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on safety and sustainability.
