Shipping Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Shipping Manager to lead our domestic and international shipping operations. The role involves developing shipping strategies, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute shipping strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage domestic and international shipping across multiple transportation modes.
• Oversee carrier selection, freight negotiations, contracts, and SLAs.
• Optimize routes, freight costs, transit times, and delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade standards.
• Monitor KPIs such as on‑time delivery, freight cost, carrier performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, production, sales, and customer service teams for efficient order fulfillment.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and 3PL providers.
• Resolve shipping disruptions, delays, claims, and logistics exceptions.
• Produce shipping reports, dashboards, forecasts, and executive presentations.
• Drive automation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement in shipping processes.
• Support business expansion by evaluating new logistics networks and transportation solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
• Proven experience managing both domestic and international shipping operations.
• Strong understanding of freight management, customs regulations, Incoterms, and import/export processes.
