Site Engineer – Building Envelope & Coatings

About the role

The Site Engineer will be based on‑site in Manama, overseeing the construction and installation of high‑performance building envelope systems, insulation, and technical coatings. Working closely with civil and structural engineers, contractors and the project team, you will ensure that all works meet design specifications, safety standards and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction and installation activities related to façades, thermal insulation and coating systems.
• Coordinate with civil/structural engineers, contractors and site teams to align work sequences.
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor quality, progress and compliance with specifications.
• Resolve technical issues on‑site and provide practical solutions.
• Review drawings and method statements, prepare site reports and documentation.
• Support project managers with resource planning, sequencing and continuous improvement of site processes.
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven ability to work effectively in an on‑site environment and manage daily activities.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with engineers, contractors and clients.
• Experience in quality control, site inspections and compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Solid understanding of structural engineering principles applied to building envelope and coating systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Commitment to safety, sustainability and high‑quality workmanship.
