Technical Sales Engineer - Water Treatment Chemicals

About the role

We are seeking a Bahrain‑based Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales of water treatment chemicals for a global US water‑technology leader. You will combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to serve industrial customers across Bahrain.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end technical chemical sales to industrial clients throughout Bahrain.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and other industry stakeholders.
• Prepare technical and commercial tenders, perform dosage calculations and draft commercial proposals.
• Act as a technical consultant on retainer for key accounts, providing expert advice on water‑treatment solutions.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of experience in water‑treatment or specialty‑chemical sales, with at least 3–5 years based in Bahrain.
• Established network in Bahrain’s industrial chemicals and water‑treatment market.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
