Trainee Engineer – Technical Support & Development

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Engineer to join Yokogawa’s engineering team. The role offers hands‑on experience supporting internal projects and customers across the YMA region, while developing core technical competencies in industrial automation and control systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Lead Engineers in preparing engineering, sales and service deliverables.
• Support software preparation and configuration for development projects.
• Participate in design, assembly and testing of network‑based control systems according to customer specifications.
• Generate graphics and perform testing for service panels.
• Maintain project documentation and produce monthly activity reports.
• Carry out analyzer and PCI turnaround maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• B.E. or B.Tech. degree in Instrumentation & Control, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
• Eagerness to learn, take ownership and meet project timelines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to propose improvements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
