Website Administrator / Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Website Administrator/Developer to join a leading international insurance company based in Bahrain. The successful candidate will work on enhancing and maintaining the company’s web presence, ensuring smooth operation of multilingual sites in English and Arabic.

Key responsibilities

• Add new features and modify existing code and databases for current websites.
• Debug and troubleshoot code issues promptly.
• Develop and maintain multilingual websites (English & Arabic).
• Create custom plugins and follow best development practices.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience building websites with open‑source CMS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress, Drupal or Joomla.
• Proficient in object‑oriented PHP (versions 4 & 5) and MySQL V5.
• Comfortable coding in CSS, XHTML, HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Experience with bug/issue tracking and version control systems.
• Good understanding of SEO principles and web services.
