Account Manager – Transfer Agency

About the role

The Account Manager – Transfer Agency will act as the primary point of contact for fund investors, fund managers and internal teams. You will ensure accurate fund documentation, maintain investor registries, and oversee AML/KYC processing across a portfolio of funds.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the knowledgeable liaison for investors, managers and internal teams regarding fund documentation, investor registries and AML/KYC compliance.
• Coordinate with operations and CRM teams to ensure timely completion of tasks such as investor onboarding, share registry dealings, payments, and FATCA/CRS filings.
• Publish correct NAV prices to pricing vendors (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Morningstar) and support fund audits and PBC requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with Fund Administration teams and keep them updated on Transfer Agency activities.
• Review and comment on Transfer Agency aspects in fund PPMs, working closely with the Corporate Secretary.

Required profile

• Good command of English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of Arabic (written and spoken) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AML/KYC laws and guidelines of MENA regulators, CIMA and Apex AML policies; knowledge of Bermuda and BVI AML/KYC regulations is a plus.
• Basic understanding of fund structures, share classes, series and NAV calculations.
