Business Development Manager – Insurance (GCC)

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth by identifying and securing new opportunities within the GCC insurance market. You will act as the bridge between client needs and our consultancy services, enhancing market presence and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with firm objectives.
• Identify, qualify, and acquire new insurance clients, brokers and stakeholders.
• Represent the firm at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Monitor regulatory changes, market trends and competitor activity to uncover opportunities.
• Prepare tailored proposals, presentations and negotiate contracts.
• Collaborate with consulting, marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Set and achieve sales targets, report KPIs to senior management and maintain CRM records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance or related field.
• Professional certification such as CII or CPCU.
• Minimum 7 years of business development or sales experience in the insurance sector.
• Proven track record of revenue generation and deal closure.
• Deep understanding of GCC insurance regulations, market dynamics and operational processes.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Goal‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to thrive in a competitive environment.
