Chef de Partie (CDP) – Full‑time Kitchen Role

About the role

The Café Flore Matin et Soir team in Bahrain is looking for a motivated Chef de Partie (CDP) to lead a specific kitchen section. This full‑time, on‑site position involves preparing and presenting café‑style dishes to the highest standards while supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, ensuring consistent taste, portioning and plating.
• Organise and maintain mise en place for the assigned section, keeping workstations clean and well‑stocked.
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef on menu development and daily service planning.
• Train, mentor and guide junior kitchen staff during service.
• Monitor stock levels, rotate inventory and minimise waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a kitchen section, preferably as a Chef de Partie in a café or restaurant.
• Strong culinary background in both hot and cold kitchen production.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and a commitment to a clean, organised work environment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain consistency.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset in a multicultural setting.
