Demand Planner / Supply Planner

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Demand Planner / Supply Planner to drive accurate forecasting, balance supply and demand, and optimise inventory across our supply chain. The role works closely with procurement, manufacturing, logistics and commercial teams to ensure product availability while minimising costs and risks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, promotions and business forecasts.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, identify variances and recommend adjustments.
• Create supply plans that align with demand forecasts, production capacity, procurement schedules and inventory targets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (procurement, manufacturing, logistics, sales, finance) to ensure smooth product flow.
• Track inventory performance, safety stock, replenishment cycles and order fulfillment metrics.
• Identify supply constraints, resolve material shortages and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain planning data in ERP, APS, MRP and other supply‑chain planning platforms.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and executive presentations on demand, supply and inventory performance.
• Participate in S&OP and IBP processes to align operational plans with corporate objectives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Experience in demand forecasting, supply planning or inventory management.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting data and recommendations.
