Electrical Engineer for Naval Support Activity Bahrain

About the role

KBR is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain electrical systems and components for Naval Support Activity Bahrain. The position is onsite with full‑time deployment in Manama, Bahrain.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyze electrical systems, including power distribution, control, and instrumentation.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for project execution.
• Perform load calculations, system studies, and technical evaluations, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and recommend solutions to improve performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, and project management teams to support delivery and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout design, installation, and operation.
• Support commissioning, start‑up, and ongoing maintenance activities.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in electrical design, systems engineering, or project execution.
• Knowledge of electrical codes such as NEC and IEC and safety practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
